greetings people~!

theres a 2 hour mandarin class later but my big fat banana arse refuse to go kick some hua yi's bud. hesitating. =S

its not easy you know.. i mean when it comes to learning a foreign language.
others label people like me a banana. not because we have long *ahems* or we have the word banana written all over our faces, but simply because we cant speak mandarin.
i believe the banana in me is half ripe because i can speak and i understand mandarin verbally. only when it comes to pinyin and those real complicated lines that will somehow form a character, then i just dont understand anymore.

mr leong, our mandarin lecturer once said,

dont worry, theres only 300+ syllables in mandarin which you have to master in 6 months.

what the heck.

fei was telling me that kids only start writing mandarin sentences in primary three, after 2 years of introduction to mandarin. whole 2 years weh!
their bananas have ample of time to grow and ripe weh! ours dont! =P

talking about bananas, when i was in UTP's clinic this morning, i saw something really interesting that is very much related to bananas. (it was at the counter mind you, and i couldnt help but notice the big stack of xeroxed paper.)



nah, dont get me wrong. i have nothing against it.
its just a traditional muslim thingee that they do i know. even non-muslims do it too nowadays. i respect.

but i just dont understand the 'khatan perempuan' part.
how come they are charging rm 10 to khatan the perempuan only but rm 100 to khatan the lelaki?
what, the boys one harder to disconnect?

i really have got no idea.

and the thing about misleading adverts;

Pemeriksaan kesihatan = percuma.
a) glucose = rm 5.00
b) kolestrol = rm 20.00

what in the world does it mean-la? =P
