MERRY NEW YEAR PEOPLE!

lol hope everything's good alright this coming year for all of you!

personally, i think that our ex year had been a really long long one for me. i achieved pretty much a lot, and looking back, there are probably infinite stories that.. id say mostly now are lost in translation. but yeap, hopefully good ones are always vividly remembered.

oh yeah, heres one of them that i definitely will remember - my 2008 new year celebration.

i decided not to join my friends at hueyling's (sorry guys >.<) and stayed home.

and staying at home a few hours before new year means one thing:

"EH, LET'S AND GO TO THE JUSCO SALE, PEOPLE PEOPLE!"

"oh yeah? cheap sale? let me grab some huge plastic bags and a shiny chain saw first"

(honestly i didnt know that those smartie pants in them departmental stores actually plan those big sales right BEFORE new year)

oh man i tell you, dad decided that, WE, must go to the sale, you know, TOGETHER-GETHER so that we will get extra quotas on limited items. lol, those 'limited to 2 per customer' thingee. =P

okay im not complaining. it was pretty fun i reckon, pushing around for reduced stuffs, carrying piles of toilet rolls around, and of course, the LONGEST queues in jusco's history, ever. haha.

so what we bought after a whole lot of crowding with the few other... millions of very LOYAL jusco customers (and i mean VERY loyal):

4 dozens of cutie soft toilet rolls. ah lembutnya. but honestly it was a serious bargain wei! haha. 1 dozen for rm 2.88, mana mau cari? so now, we have tissues aplenty to wipe clean our beautiful asses sparkle. anyone want to tumpang my toilet?

two trays of eggs. lol. grade XSmall eggs. i mean seriously, what is going to happen to this world you tell me? 1 year ago, 1 tray of huge eggs only cost like what, rm 6.00? now ah, lol ultra tiny ones are sold for rm 8.00++ a tray. a tray! lol. a freaking tray! rawr. eggs. eggs. i want my cheap XXXLL eggs.

and six packs of maggi in fives (yeah it was rm 1.99/pack)! yayness! lol. i became ghairah because i couldnt recall the last time i had maggi kari. went back, cut some onions, hotdogs and vegetables and started frying away. sedap i tell you! SEDAP! haha!

okay okay. i know i know. i totally sound like the si-lai-est person in the entire world now.

you wait.. wait. wait til you grow old and nasty, and start nagging away about the priciest things in the store, and queueing up for the even longer queues during the shorter new year. HA. then at least i have some experiences crowding the right way already. =P

so yeah, i guess i pretty much missed the whole LOT of grand pyrotechnics in town but yeah, it'll fairly be the same every year right?

this fighting-over-some-cheap-stuffs-and-helping-the-family-to-save-a-few-penny missions pretty much cannot be 'accomplished' every year de ah.

mana tahu next year got cheap pampers ler hor? must go again! =P
