this was what happened this morning:

aa: man, the burger yesterday tasted so good.

jim: oh yeah, i had the one you brought midnight at 9 am just now with a diet coke. it was really really good. it’s been a long time!

we paused for a while and burst into laughter.

how sad. two city boys trapped in a perimeter for more than 1 month now with no internet, mobile signal or any signs of civilization. just sand. lots of sand and metal.
