greetings all.

HAPPY NEW YEAR in advance!

so yeah i bus-ed all the way to penang for a few days right after i touched down less than 48 hours.

according to my oh-so-baik sis, the bus trip will take around 4 hours plus to reach penang ma.. BUT after four hours of sleeping, i opened my eyes and to my dismay, this very familiar and TOTALLY UNPLEASANT word popped out:

IPOH.

that stoopid word not only mean that im going to be late for my sis' band performance, it also meant that UNI IS STARTING SOON!


oh this is definitely not my bus to penang but the speed is definitely comparable.

and yeap, i was late for her performance, roughly 10 minutes late but lol malaysians have very long grace periods, if you understand what i mean. =P

sis' place is 5 minutes from kfc. how unfair is that? but no wonder the spare parts. =P

penang, i reckon, is a pretty cool place. food heaven i guess.

sis was busy so, i, being THE good boy, packed a map, water bottle and camera, left for town. blurred all the way, kena ketuk rm 0.30 for a plate of meehon goreng (the auntie very dishonest lor, it was super obvious!), took a super lousy bus, and abrakadabra sampailah saya to prangin mall.

prangin mall ah. I MET IAN THERE! lol. what possibility to meet a singaporean friend who studied in aussie in penang?! lol. never thought im going to see him again! im glad!

so yeah i toured around the heritage circle on foot; super tiring and yes, extremely super hot. im hot.

im flipping hot. =P dont salivate.

and the rm 1.00 entry fee museum! haha. so 'cheap'. things inside also cheap.

okay, kimfong was kind enough to bring me around. many thanks. kesian him being the driver. i was somehow carrying this go-everywhere-also-shop-will-close disease lor. want to go eat curry, shop close. eat pasta, close. eat this close. eat that close. bu ba. RAWR!

the setting of the restaurant aint that bad eih? and heavenly tomyam only rm 5.90! mana mau cari? and we had this belacan ayam goreng too! it was really good as well!

after a few days there, i came back with sis to kl lor. it was christmas ma and we still had some shopping to do.
