food for thought

how many people do you know are brave enough to say this:

"I love what I have right now."

somehow i am really happy for him. and envious too.

i suppose it's high time for us (at least me) to learn to be constantly thankful of what i have now and live thankfully.

i love what i have right now.

Blood donation

I had extra blood in my body (lol) so I decided that donating blood is good for health. Started looking for blood donation drives close by home but found none.

Then my brilliant brain (lol lol) said that why not just walk in to any government hospitals and for sure there will be some sort of blood bank that will accept blood donations. The brilliant brain too was thinking what will happen to all the blood that are donated to private hospitals? Sold back to people?

I had to find out the hard way the following fact:

In Kuala Lumpur at least there are only 2 platforms to donate your precious blood

1. Go directly to Pusat Darah Negara (google location)
2. Wait for blood drives (official calender here) organized by PDN and some "dai sam je".

Don't forget to bring your little red book too for your own reference and theirs. ;)

Happy donating people! Help save lives!

Malaysian Certificate of Good Conduct

######
Feb 2014 update.

Applications now are done online and will require a minimum of 1 month to be processed. Please do give them a call for more information.

All the best.
######

There, this update is as of 12th December 2011 to apply for a Certificate of Good Conduct in Putrajaya, Malaysia. Feel free to google. lol. I've been hustling and bustling around the internet to find nothing much. Actually, www.kln.gov.my is quite explanatory but let me summarize:

1. Go to www.kln.gov.my, register and fill up the Certificate of Good Conduct form. Print two copies.
2. Two passport sized pictures.
3. Print the declaration form (two copies) from the website and get it stamped by the Commisioner of Oath.
4. Two copies of passport (endorsed by the receptionist in the ministry).
5. Two copies of I/C (endorsed by the receptionist in the ministry).
6. MYR 20 for application. MYR 4 for each Commisioner of Oath stamp.

Tip #1: There is a commisioner of oath in the Palace of Justice 5 minutes drive from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building, Putrajaya.
Tip #2: There is a computer (with internet) and a printer in the reception area (but don't count on it, it's free).
Tip #3: Lunch time: 1230-1400 Malaysian time, if you know what I mean.
Tip #4: Dress appropriately; no hot pants, short skirts, sleeveless and shorts.
Tip #5: You'll only get a number once all your documents are compiled.
Tip #6: There's free wifi! Now that's something you don't see often!
Tip #7: Be patient. It's government service. *wink*

once upon a time

so almost 6 years ago we entered university.

we laughed, cried, drove, sang, studied, failed (yeah right),  disappeared, “pati-ed”, burnt midnight oil, burnt day oil, made quality friends, enemies, cursed some lecturers, fell asleep in class, peeped some answers, played loads of badminton, jogged, squash, basketball, walked, jumped, fell, rolled, spent shitload much of money, watched loads of movies, watch boys and girls (what?), cursed the pak guard, oh the mak guards, hu ha about tests, projects, assignments, ranted like a queen, camped in the library, camwhored, hated in house food, ate chinese chicken in tronoh, missed home, met crazy impromptu decisions, went crazy

CIMG3258 (Medium)

and now we are going to attend our graduation. after 8 months ending our semester.

(potong stim at some point la hor?)

so a shoutout to all back there later, come “home” and we shall all sing, dance, laugh, eat, chat, go crazy and drink like never before!

see you all soon! ;D

blood

(i know i’m wrong to use the company’s pc to play games, but i promise i will uninstall right after okay? please keep it a secret haha yeah i’m telling the whole world.)

so i FINALLY got to play the much awaited (not anymore) modern warfare 2. now that i have a 256MB NVIDIA Quadro, i can actually enjoy, like ENJOY the beauty of this game!

untitled

the above picture, if in real resolutions, is to show how much details they actually put into the game. like a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a gazillion lot! i can even see that fella’s pimples. :P (not so kua cheong lah)

1

and this is what i love most. the above and below pictures, if detailed properly, show “shockwaves” of guns firing. the images near the gun shots become fluidic, harmoniously distorted and wavy. so physic lor. (okay lah i know i jakun lah.)

123

casually walking into an airport, shooting everything and anything. seriously, it’s not good for small kids. not good at all. even when i was playing this stage, i barely shot any rounds. felt guilty in a weird way. haha.

3

heartbeat detector. lagi geng.

if you have not tried, and you have a good rig, please don’t hesitate! :)
